Home school families will receive the discounted school group rates for Exhibits, IMAX® Theatre, and Texas Spirit Theater admissions on Homeschool Day.
Explore the Story Learning Stations will be scheduled from 10 am - 3 pm. Education volunteers will lead students in hands-on activities, demonstrations, and much more!
See educational films in the IMAX® Theatre, or The Star of Destiny and Wild Texas Weather in the Texas Spirit Theater.
Enjoy activities related to exhibits, and pick up complimentary educator materials at the Resource Table.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: How much does it cost to go into the exhibits?
Answer: The exhibits are free to all Homeschoolers, Chaperones, and Teachers, but you still need to go to the ticket counter to get an exhibit sticker.
Question: How much does it cost to go to the IMAX theater?
Answer: The IMAX® theater is $4.00 for students, and $5.00 for teachers and chaperones.
Question: How much does it cost to go to the Star of Destiny or Wild Texas Weather program?
Answer: The Star of Destiny multimedia program is $3.00 for students, and $3.00 for teachers and chaperones.
Question: Where can we eat lunch?
Answer: Lunch can be purchased in the café. You may not bring outside food or drink into the café. If you brought your lunch, you are more than welcome to eat at the covered picnic area across the street from the Museum.
Question: Where do I buy tickets for the IMAX® and the Star of Destiny Theater?
Answer: Tickets may be purchased at the ticket counter, where you will also pick up your exhibit stickers.
