Wells Fargo First Saturdays
The First Saturday afternoon of the Month Is Free at the Museum!

The Museum is offering free admission to the Museum Exhibits from 2-6 pm on the first Saturday of each month with Wells Fargo First Saturdays.

Also, you can take advantage of the TEXplorations Family Story Time from 2-4 pm. This interactive reading program has a special theme that changes each month. 

Just as the free summer concert series Music Under the Star offers thousands the chance to experience the Story of Texas for free, Wells Fargo First Saturdays is another step in the ongoing effort to reach out to Texas residents who might not be able to afford the educational opportunities the Museum offers.

As the state history museum for all Texans, the Museum believes that this effort is very important because of its unique capability to present historic treasures from around the state and its wealth of educational resources. These benefits have the capacity to make history come alive for individuals and increase their chances of academic success.
