They've heard about the heroes, the battles, and the legendary Texas pride. Now your group can experience The Story of Texas at The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, from first encounters between Native American and European explorers to new frontiers of the 20th century.

Walk-In Tours
FREE with exhibit admission and are offered to the first 15 people to meet at the tour sign in the lobby on:

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 and 11 am
Saturdays at 1 and 2 pm

Docents offer one of the following five tours:

• Encounters on the Land: First Floor
• Building the Lone Star Identity: Second Floor
• Creating Opportunity: Third Floor
• Highlights Tour: All Three Floors
• Special Exhibit

Reserved Tours
Offered to groups with a minimum of ten adults. Choose one of the tours listed above to fit your own interests and schedule. The tours last 45 minutes. Reserved Tours are FREE with exhibit admission but require a $25 refundable deposit per docent requested.Please call (512) 936-4649 two weeks in advance to make your reservation.
