On the last day of the millennium, when God tells Faith Bass Darling, a twenty-year recluse and the richest old lady in Bass, Texas, to have a garage sale, it is only the beginning. Events unfurl and stories that have been buried for decades come to light. Laughter, surprise, shock and a few tears accompany the new discoveries about family and community.
