Enduring Women
Enduring Whatever Nature or Man Throws at Them
Enduring Women celebrated 12 women who represented the essence of perseverance, courage, and fortitude.
This exhibition, featuring oral histories and photography, examined the importance of place and family heritage in the lives of 12 women who hailed from DeKalb to San Elizario, from San Isidro to Amarillo, from Portland to Pecos. Featuring undergraduate creative research in the fields of oral history, art history, and photography, the exhibition told the women's stories through their own words and provided a unique look into their daily lives on the land.
