Print Page
María de Jesus Treviño de la Garza Falcón's wedding dress was custom-designed and tailored in Laredo, Texas.
María married Francisco Gonzalez Cadena in Jim Wells County in December 1902. A descendant of José de Escandón’s 1747 colony of Nuevo Santander, Falcón came from an established Tejano family. Her silk brocade dress reflects the most fashionable style of the early 1900s.
