Your membership cards and parking vouchers will be mailed to you within two weeks of purchase/renewal. If you have yet to receive your membership packet after two weeks, please contact the Membership Office at (512) 936-4689 or membership@thestoryoftexas.com to check on the status.

Your generous membership purchase directly impacts our ability to provide quality, educational programming for all ages. For membership purchases over $250, the Museum will automatically send you a year-end statement including the amount of goods and services received related to your membership purchase. Please consult your tax advisor for specific requirements for deductibility regarding your membership. Thank you for supporting the Bullock Museum! We will mail your membership packet, including membership cards and parking vouchers, within the next two weeks. Yes! Your membership is active from the day of purchase/renewal. You will be given a temporary membership card on-site. Please note you may have to pay for parking at the Museum Garage.

No reservations are needed for Members to enjoy unlimited exhibition admission. Show your membership card at the Ticketing desk when you arrive at the Museum to use your benefits.

Membership benefits may not be used for school or group admission. 

The North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association offers free or reduced admission to institutions across the United States, including the McDonald Observatory, the Holocaust Museum in Houston, the Frick Collection in New York, and more! Visit their website to find a qualifying institution. 

Members receive 10-15% discount on-site or online at the Museum Store. When purchasing online, your membership discount will be automatically applied to your order during the checkout process. If the discount is not automatically applied, please enter your membership ID number located on your membership card or your registered email address in the "Membership Code" box at checkout to receive your membership discount.

Visitors age fifteen and younger must be accompanied in the Museum and theaters by someone age sixteen or older.

We will mail your membership packet, which includes your membership cards and parking vouchers, within two weeks of purchasing a membership. If you have yet to receive your membership packet after two weeks, please contact the Membership Office at (512) 936-4689 or membership@thestoryoftexas.com.

The Museum Garage only accepts date-stamped parking vouchers with an expiration date stamped on the front. If you have used all your parking vouchers you will need to pay for parking at the Museum Garage.

Lost or stolen parking vouchers cannot be reissued.

The Museum Garage offers extended parking hours during University of Texas home football game days. Parking on game days is $10 for Museum Members (with a valid parking voucher) and $25 for the general public. Only valid Member parking vouchers will be honored on game days. Click here for more information on the UT football schedule. Museum visitors may experience traffic delays on game days.

There are four easy ways to renew your membership. 

• Mail a check payable to TSHM with your renewal form
• Call the Membership Office at (512) 936-4689
• Log on or register online
• Visit the Ticketing counter in the Museum Lobby

​​Visit us online and sign in at the top right-hand corner of the page using the email you used to join. You will need to create an account if you have not done so already. After you log in, you can select your membership options for renewal. When you check out, your renewal will be linked to the information on your membership account.

​​Gift memberships are available to give to loved ones and friends! Purchase a gift membership when you visit on-site, online, or call the Membership Office at (512) 936-4689. The recipient of the gift membership will receive their membership packet by mail along with an optional note from the giver. You may also choose to pick up the gift membership on-site.
