Texas Ranger Thomas R. Hickman's Thompson Machine Gun

This Colt Thompson Sub-Machine Gun, serial number 5979, belonged to Texas Ranger Thomas R. Hickman.
Captain of the Texas Ranger Force, Company "C", Fort Worth, Texas, circa 1920. It was shipped to him via Federal Laboratories in May of 1929 along with another Colt Thompson. It is an all original model 1921AC Colt Thompson in excellent condition. Here it is pictured in an original Swetnum hard case, with a serial numbered 50 round "L" drum, four patent dated 20 round box magazines, brass cleaning rod and spare parts kit. This weapon is now in a private Texas Ranger Thompson Sub-Machine Gun collection in North Texas.
