Ridge Fog
I stopped on the way out of the park to capture fog as it poured over the ridge in the distance. It was an interesting scene, something you don't see everyday in the rest of Texas. The ridge was acting as a fog dam.

On this hike, we were on the trail by 5:45am and completed a large portion under the stars. The Sun was quickly rising in this image taken at one of the first major vantage points on the South Rim Trail. This shot is an assembled panorama.

Our group arrived at the parking lot of the store at Rio Grande Village campground on the Wednesday evening just before Thanksgiving Day, 2015. So of course I had to immediately start clicking away at the beautiful scenery. This dying tree struck me.
