Walking Stick
The Boquillas walking sticks are beautiful to me. I love the colors and the designs.

These items were on display as we made our way to Boquillas Canyon for a hike.
EnlargeRiver Road
As a young child, our family would travel to Presidio from Van Horn for summer vacation. We would camp along the Rio Grande and we thought it was a grand adventure. The River Road was (and still is) one of my favorite drives in Texas.
EnlargeBluebonnets in Big Bend
My three sisters and I went to Big Bend to celebrate my 60th birthday in March 2015. The bluebonnets were spectacular and the biggest ones I had ever seen.
EnlargeClouds over Chisos
I chose Big Bend to celebrate my 60th birthday with my three sisters. As we were headed back to the Basin, the clouds started rolling over the Chisos. The scene was dreamy and beautiful.
EnlargeSunset at the Window
After a day in the desert, it is a peaceful and relaxing experience to take in the sunset at the quintessential Window in the Basin. There is a sense of completeness and fullness to watch the day come to a close.
