Looking into Mexico
Taken on Sept. 6, 2015. Three day backpacking trip with my son on the Rim Trail. Spectacular views on this trail.

Caught this beautiful sunrise on Sept. 7th, 2015 descending from Mt. Emery into the Chisos Basin. What an absolutely beautiful sight! My dad and I were finishing up our 3 day backpacking trip and looking forward to the “All You Can Eat Breakfast” buffet.
EnlargeGlenn Spring Road
Chisos Mountains taken on Glenn Spring Road about 1 mile in from the main ParkRoad; there is a little pullout with views of both the Chisos and the landscape toward Rio Grande Village.
EnlargeRainstorm
Rain clouds taken on the main Park Road between Panther Junction and Rio Grande Village (maybe 4 miles from Panther Junction); one of the only time we’ve been to Big Bend where we saw rain; I liked the way the water glistened on the side of the mountains.
EnlargeCacti Blossom
Macro shot taken on Glenn Spring Road approx 2 miles south of where Black Gap Road connects; saw these blossoms on some cacti and grabbed our macro attachment
