Free outdoor summer concert series 2024
Music Under the Star (MUtS) returns to the Bullock Museum this summer with three nights of electrifying performances in the new Capitol Mall Amphitheater. Experience this free outdoor summer concert series from 6 to 9 p.m. on June 14, July 19, and August 9.
Bring the whole family, camp chairs, and blankets to enjoy an incredible lineup of Texas artists. Food and drinks available for purchase at all MUtS concerts. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
$15 paid parking is available in the Bullock Museum’s underground garage.

The Peterson Brothers with Kamica King | June 14, 2024 6 – 9 p.m.
The evening opens at 6 p.m. with Kamica King, a Dallas-based singer-songwriter performing a folk/soul sound informed by jazz and her Afro-Caribbean roots. Then, Austin-native headlining performers The Peterson Brothers return with their blend of Americana music consisting of classic Soul, Funk, Blues, and Jazz.
Los Texmaniacs with Chayito Champion and Keli Rosa Cabunoc | July 19, 2024 6 – 9 p.m.
The evening opens at 6 p.m. with Chayito Champion and Keli Rosa Cabunoc, two San Antonio-based performers who bring together the musical and cultural worlds of Flamenco dancing and San Jarocho music. Then, GRAMMY® award-winning headliners Max Baca and Los Texmaniacs show off their unique combination of Tex-Mex Conjunto, Texas rock, blues, and R&B riffs.
Guy Forsyth with The South Austin Moonlighters | August 9, 2024 6 – 9 p.m.
The evening opens at 6 p.m. with national Americana recording artists The South Austin Moonlighters, who are regulars at honky-tonks, listening rooms, and venues throughout Texas and beyond. Then, Austin-based singer, storyteller, and songwriter Guy Forsyth returns with a headlining performance that features his mastery of the guitar, harmonica, and musical saw.
