Meet local meteorologists and enjoy free family activities

January 27, 2017 (AUSTIN, TX) — Enjoy a day of science and fun for the whole family during WeatherFest 2017 on Sunday, Feb. 5 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in downtown Austin.

During WeatherFest, a partnership between the museum, Spectrum Networks, and Girlstart, admission to the museum is free all day from noon to 5 p.m. and there is no charge for fun, educational activities that take place until 3 p.m. Catch a cloud in a jar and discover how tornadoes are formed, enjoy exhibitor demonstrations, learn important safety tips, take part in family-friendly activities, and meet your favorite meteorologist during the museum's H-E-B Free First Sunday program.
