B Movies and Bad History: Remember the Alamo!

Texas pride, lore, and legend seem to always be tied to the Battle of the Alamo, and that’s probably why this historical event has been featured in American film so many times over the years. Explore the historical facts and fiction of the quintessential Texas Hollywood story displayed on-screen through several iterations of the Alamo saga. Texas historians and film experts will guide the crowd through several clips representing various eras of Alamo film history, complete with coonskin caps.
