Event Details
On Saturday, November 2, middle school and high school teams will showcase their team-built robots on the game field as they prepare for competition. Come see the fun and watch student-built robots in action!
Competition schedule
- September 14, 2024: Kickoff event at Wimberly High School
- November 2, 2024: Practice Day at the Bullock Texas State History Museum
- November 8, 2024: Competition Day at Dripping Springs High School
Capitol BEST is a skills development program for middle schools and high schools. The program consists of emulating an actual product development over an eight-week period, including design and manufacturing of a robot from raw materials, engineering notebook, engineering drawings, autonomous programming, marketing presentation, conference-like exhibition, community relations, video and website design, and ending with a head-to-head competition.
