Programs

November 9, 2024 10:00am - 12:30pm

Explore how one treaty shaped the destinies of two nations.

Held in conjunction with the Legacies of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo exhibit, this workshop provides an opportunity for teachers to learn about the treaty that ended the U.S.-Mexico War. Dive into this special exhibition with a Museum Curator and work with Museum Educators to explore primary sources and practice classroom activity strategies.

This workshop is free of charge and lunch will be provided. CPE certificates will be provided after the workshop. This program is approved by SBEC.
