Celebrate Black History with a reading of Black Is a Rainbow Color by Angela Joy. Search the museum for artifacts in all colors of the rainbow and create your own flower bouquet to celebrate black as a rainbow color. If you’re looking for more books connected to our theme, look no further than this list, specially curated by Austin Public Library.

Drop-in for this hands-on program incorporating movement, play, and tactile learning into engaging experiences where younger children (ages 2-5) can discover something new alongside their caregivers. 

Program is FREE for members or with exhibition admission.
