Bring the whole family for a one-of-a-kind experience in the Museum's Texas Spirit Theater. In this 1992 retelling of the Charles Dicken's classic, Jim Henson's beloved Muppet characters tell their version of an old and bitter miser's redemption on Christmas Eve. Enjoy special effects throughout the screening!
Arrive early to explore exhibitions and Free First Sunday family activities. From 12pm until 3:30pm, drop-in at a family activity station on the second floor with Caritas of Austin.
Seating begins at 1:00 pm for the 1:30pm screening and at 3:30pm for the 4:00pm. All children over 4 need a ticket for entry. Any child under 4 who wants a guaranteed seat during the film will also need to purchase a ticket. Concessions from the IMAX Theatre will be allowed in the theater.

Please note: The State of Texas is building a new fully pedestrianized green space between the Bullock Texas State History Museum and the Texas Capitol. The Museum and its parking garage remain open during construction. Surface parking lots and most parking meters will not be available for the duration of the construction project.
