Explore the Story of Texas with a different activity or art project each time. Drop in anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the first floor lobby and get hands-on with history.
Archaeologists uncovered scores of artifacts when they excavated the ship La Belle, including several types of 17th century buttons. Join the Texas Historical Commission and discover how historic buttons differ from those we use on our clothing today, and make your own button to take home.
