For the Love of Meat sits down with some of the top pitmasters in Central Texas to explore the philosophy, history, and process behind their craft — from the wood, to the pits, to the meat, to the technique and skill. Aaron Franklin of the now famous Franklin Barbecue in Austin, Tootsie Tomanetz of Snow's BBQ in Lexington, and Wayne Mueller of Louie Mueller Barbecue in Taylor are featured in the film, along with appearances from pitmasters at City Market, Laird's, Cooper's, Opie's, and many more.
