Held on the first Wednesday of every month, High Noon Talks highlight interesting and often untold topics through this lunch-time lecture.
Today, Austin is known nationally as a foodie hot-spot but, few newcomers know about Austin's culinary roots. Come explore the stories of diners that are long-gone or tried and true eateries that have become Austin institutions with Melanie Haupt, a blogger, Austin Chronicle contributor, and author of Historic Austin Restaurants: Capital Cuisine Through the Generations.
