High Noon Talk: Postcard America

In his recent book, Postcard America, Jeffrey Meikle presents two extensive portfolios of beautiful historic  postcards—landscapes and cityscapes—that represent a fascinating view of America's past. For each image, he explains the postcard’s subject, describes its production, and places it in social and cultural contexts.

Join Meikle, a professor in the departments of American Studies, Art and Art History at UT, for an exploration of several striking Texas-centric postcards from his book.
