In the Pride Lands of Tanzania, Simba (Donald Glover), king of the Pride Lands, is determined for his cub, Kiara (voiced by Blue Ivy Carter), to follow in his paw prints. Rafiki (John Kani), with color commentary from Timon (Billy Eichner) and Pumbaa (Seth Rogen) tells Kiara the story of two lions, Mufasa, an orphan, and the young prince Taka, who will come to be known as Scar.
