Join us for a fun lowrider birthday celebration.

Event Details

They’re not old, they’re classic. Celebrate the 46th birthday of the green 1967 Ford LTD owned by John Colunga with party crafts, music, and more. Explore Texas lowriding through a display of seven lowrider cars, five bikes, fashion, music and so much more in the Carros y Cultura: Lowriding Legacies in Texas special exhibition.

Featured Activities:

  • 1967 Ford LTD Owner John Colunga will be in the gallery from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the celebration. Stop by to learn more about the car’s transformation into an award-winning lowrider.
  • Drop by the Bullock craft tables to spray paint your very own birthday hat to celebrate the occasion.

Program is FREE with Museum admission.
