Bullock Museum Members are invited to enjoy an edible escape and preview the Our Global Kitchen exhibition before the public opening.
Sample treats and libations from the melting pot of great Austin restaurants, including Blue Corn Harvest, 416 Bar & Grille, Yellow as Turmeric, Delysia Chocolatier, and Paula's Texas Spirits. See a live demonstration in the Whole Foods Market Tasting Kitchen. Enjoy wine generously donated by Duchman Family Winery.
Members are invited to bring their favorite recipe to participate in the Bullock Museum's ultimate recipe swap and can snap pictures in a food-themed photo booth. Austin's own Whiskey Shivers will play live at the event!

About the Exhibition
Our Global Kitchen takes visitors on a journey around the world and through time, exploring the interaction we have with food and examining the intricate systems that bring the food from the farm to the table.
Through digital interactives, dioramas, artifacts, and models, this exhibition tells the stories of the complex and entwined relationship between humans and food. Our Global Kitchen provides opportunities to sample seasonal treats in a tasting kitchen, cook a virtual meal, and peek into the dining rooms of famous figures throughout history while enjoying the intersection of food, nature, culture, health, and history.
