Pandas
Laser IMAX® 2D | G | 40 min. | Documentary
November 1, 2018 - August 31, 2019
At Chengdu Panda Base in China, scientists are dedicated to protecting the species by breeding adult Giant Pandas in order to introduce cubs into the wild.
Pandas, an adventure story perfect for the whole family, follows the story of one researcher whose passion leads her to initiate a new technique inspired by the work of wildlife conservationists a world away.
What starts as a cross-cultural collaboration becomes a life-changing journey for a Chinese researcher; an American biologist who crosses an ocean to join her; a scientist from Inner Mongolia; and a very curious female cub named Qian Qian, born in captivity. Follow Qian Qian's first steps outside her protected habitat, discovering her true nature and facing the challenges of the unknown.
