Drop in each day during spring break and get in touch with history through great activities for all ages.
It's Spring Break at the Bullock! This week, the Museum is offering a variety of programs perfect for kids and their adult companions, from hands-on activities to storytimes, and off-site workshops to cooking demonstrations.
Drop in anytime between 11am and 1pm each day. All programs are FREE for members or with exhibit admission.
Plan to come early or stay late and explore an Aztec marketplace, learn about the Global Seed Vault, and discover what scientists know about the last meal eaten by a 5,000-year-old mummified human in the exhibition Our Global Kitchen. See how square watermelons are grown in Japan then discover the magical simplicity of growing healthy food in the new IMAX® film, Watermelon Magic.

Daily Schedule
Monday: Storytime for Ages 2-5*
Listen to a fun and colorful story about making healthy food choices. Then, join us in the Whole Foods Market Tasting Kitchen and create a colorful plate full of tasty and healthy foods.
Tuesday: Create Your Own: Yummy Paintings*
Use colorful foods to create paintings that look good enough to eat. Choose foods and spices with rich pigments to use as paint.
Wednesday: Exploration Station: Wake Up Your Taste Buds*
Explore your sense of taste and try spicing up familiar foods with unique flavors.
*Note: real foods will be used but no eggs, dairy, or nuts will be used in these programs.
Thursday: Whole Foods Market Tasting Kitchen: Healthy Kids
Get your Greens on with Whole Foods Market! Learn new ways to add leafy, nutrient dense greens into your breakfast, lunch, or dinner that the whole family will enjoy.
Friday: Whole Foods Market Tasting Kitchen: Cooking with the Whole Family
Join Whole Foods Market for some tips on getting kids involved in creating breakfast, lunch or dinner. Take home recipes from past winners of the Whole Kids Cooking Challenge, an annual competition where kids from all over Austin submit healthy recipe ideas and prepare them with local chefs.
