Experience the rich diversity of Texas's cultural heritage. From world-renowned concert pianists to award-winning authors, cutting-edge filmmakers to dance troupes, this series explores the arts.
Enjoy a small venue concert with Los Texmaniacs, a group that mixes the best of Texas's musical heritage with a contemporary sound. Following the performance, hear from group members about what elements of Texas culture have most impacted their music.
Founded by Max Baca, a legend on the bajo sexto, the Grammy-winning Los Texmaniacs are a product of years of experience performing with groups as diverse as the Texas Tornadoes, Los Super Seven, and even the Rolling Stones.
This program is part of the Texas Art and Culture Series which is generously supported by Lone Star Beer—the National Beer of Texas.
