From the players and parents, to the band and cheerleaders, fans and fanatics, this exhibition explored the phenomenon that is high school football in Texas and how, for at least a few hours every week in the fall, Texas high school football is the glue that transcends differences and unites people as fans. Nearly 200 artifacts were gathered from every region of Texas to celebrate the most popular sport in the state and to explore the culture it has fostered over the past 90 years.

Texas High School Football was guest-curated by author Joe Nick Patoski.
