Texas Treasure
Inside Our Governor's Mansion
Offering a unique glimpse at life inside the official residence of Texas's First Families, this exhibition chronicled the life and history of a state landmark.
Spanning the time from Sam Houston's governorship to the devastating arson fire of 2008, this exhibition explored the stories of the people who have lived, worked, and visited there through music, videos, original artifacts, and documents.
Support for Texas Treasure was provided by Friends of the Governor’s Mansion, Bank of America, U.S. Trust, Verizon, and Docents of the Governor’s Mansion.
