Texas in the Civil War

This multi-themed exhibition from the collections of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission featured rare battle flags and the original, signed Ordinance of Secession document. Diaries, broadsides, letters and images illustrated the controversy over secession and the impact of the war on the home front in Texas. Muster rolls and other service documents told the story of individual soldiers and units.
