125 Years in the Making

This exhibition commemorated the 125th anniversary of the dedication of the Texas State Capitol.
Views of the Capitol featured both 19th and 20th century materials from the Texas State Library and Archives. Capitol architect E. E. Myers’ original linen drawings provided the cornerstone for the exhibition. Austin photographer Bill Kennedy’s stunning, large-format photographs drew visitors into the early 1990s renovation and expansion of the Capitol building.
