Event Details
Enjoy FREE exhibition admission all day during H-E-B Free First Sundays, held the first Sunday of every month. Activities are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Families can explore the Story of Texas through three floors of exhibitions that showcase and tell the history of artifacts from around the state.
Activities:
- 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. Immerse yourself in outer space at a planetarium show by the Texas State LBJ Institute for STEM Education and Research
- Learn about our galaxy through a hands-on STEM activity with Girlstart
- Make an upcycled rocket craft with the Bullock Museum
- Get ready to go back to school and pick up a free school planner from our friends at TxDot
Family programs provide educational and engaging activities for young Texans and their caregivers. Events are designed to bring families together, spark conversations and provide opportunities for growth and development.
