Event Details
As we approach America's 250th anniversary, join us for a day of conversations and curriculum resources about our nation's past, present, and future.
You're invited to a screening of the 3D documentary film Cities of the Future in the IMAX® Theatre. The film explores the challenges and opportunities of building cities in the future, including widespread solar power, efficient recycling, and low-energy transportation.
After the film screening, stay for lunch to discuss the curricular connections to the film's topics and connect them to classroom activities about America's 250th anniversary. There will also be prize drawings and CPE certificates provided, SBEC approved.
This event is free and parking for registered attendees is complimentary in the Museum’s garage. Questions? Contact (512) 936-4604 or education@thestoryoftexas.com.
