Infinity Baby is the latest offering from filmmaker Bob Byington. In a world where an accidental genetic mutation has created babies that don't grow up, Byington examines the human condition at all stages of life.
A cinematic exploration of the Texas narrative, the Museum's Texas Focus Film Series highlights stories by, for, and about Texans. This evening's program includes a film screening and Q&A with Director Bob Byington. Come early at 6pm for a welcome reception with cash bar.

Infinity Baby premiered at the SXSW 2017 Film Festival and was nominated for the Adam Yauch Hornblower Award. The film was also nominated for Best Narrative Feature Grand Jury Prize at the Oak Cliff Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature at the dead CENTER Film Festival.
Filmed in only 11 days in Austin, Texas, Infinity Baby is the first collaboration between director Bob Byington and writer Onur Tukel.
Bob Byington studied at UC Santa Cruz and at the University of Texas at Austin. His Somebody Up There Likes Me won the Special Jury Prize at the 2012 Locarno Film Festival. Byington currently lives in Austin, TX. His new film The Substitution releases in 2018, it's a comedy about a small town's reaction to scandal.
The Texas Spirit Theater on the Museum's second floor hosts original film series, artist talks, lectures, live music performances, and daily showings of multi-sensory films.
