Event Details

Learn many interesting tidbits about the Texas State Pollinator, the Honey Bee, with plenty of rhymes, songs, activities, and props with Honey Bee expert Kim Lehman. Hands-on activities will follow, including: rolling beeswax candles, trying on beekeeping suits, exploring magnifying scopes, honey tasting, bee antennas, comb rubbings and more! Join us for this hands-on program incorporating movement, play, and tactile learning into engaging experiences where younger children (ages 2–5) can discover something new alongside their caregivers.

Program is FREE for Members or with museum admission.
